yes you should. it can lie dormant for years and then suddenly flair up without warning. it is also zoonotic so you could be a risk. it needs a 28 day course of wormer as a one off and then problem solved

thanks verity..this is what the vet told me originally but i wasn't sure if it REALLY was necessary. i have also introduced my rabbit with another which i'm guessing increases the risk. i know there was an incubation period but i thought this would have passed by now, i didnt realise could get anytime. she did say worming treatments for 9 days don't work, is this true?
