Ma Gfish is swiming fast and upside down and then just floating for a bit......its jobbying loads!!!! is it just constipated?

oh noooo. i brought Cyril home from work coz it was too cold for him there!!! but now i think paul has been feeding him too much! :/ we have 5 gf and i think he thinks 1 gf eats the same as 5 :( i read some where fresh peas were good for gf constipation but then again i may have imagined it lol so ill no try it

i've been stroking the wee fellow all night :( trying to give him some relief! he's a v petted gf more so than my own then agin i spend more time with cyril !!!! he's a people gf!!!!

seriously i'm a bit upset with his current health....i mitght not give a ***** about spiders but i've known cyril for years

It's amazing what you can learn from watching QI ;-)

According to Stephen Fry (and the QI elves) a lot of people flush their goldfish down the loo because they're floating on their sides and assumed to be dead. (Yours seems to be well on the way to 'acting dead'). The cause of the problem is, apparently, over-feeding. The solution, as cited by Mr Fry, is simply to starve the fish for about 3 days and it should return to full health.

and yeah i have thrown away alot gf before i realised that seeming to be dead is not always being dead oops
RSPGF knocking soon. You dont stroke fish 'cause the scales will burn. Dont over feed either. Your neighbours will moan at all the callers knocking soon.
