Can you keep a pet racoon?

I mean can you keep it in the house like a cat, or would it be destructive?

Unless it is domestically raised from birth I'd say not, even if it was then may not be such a good idea.

They have a natural tendency to bite and are nocturnal. They are not ideal pets, and are extremely destructive.
