but then > Jerry isn't a female name!

when every i chose a name for my cats i always tried to imagine standing in the garden shouting them

after all its ok calling your cat (Cooking fat ) in the house but try shouting that out a 11pm at night ie ( come on cooking fat where are you ) :-)

Thanks for the suggestions. I will certainly try shouting some names in the garden. My neighbours will think I have finally lost it - but what the heck!!!!!!!!!!!

Off topic, but I called my last cat Carat (coz he was gold!), but felt such a prat standing in the garden shouting "Carrot" that he got renamed after 4 days.

I like real names like Mollie, Mabel, Edie, Polly and I did like the suggestion of Cassie. I know of a cat called Brenda and I can't imagine her being called anything else!
