the funny things cats do

my mothers cat, big ginge loves shoes, he will sniff and rub his head against them even nearly getting his head inside, the other morning he was fairly giving her slippers a good loving (you would think they had been sprinkled with catnip) with all the rubbing and licking said slippers were getting. any other cats out there with funny habits?

Cats generally have strange habits! One of mine also has a shoe fetish - she loves my son's particularly. I don't know if you remember a few years back the six packs of soft drinks in cans were wrapped in a cardboard sleeve. My cat (sadly no longer with me) always used to get through them and parade around the house with this cardbaord sleeve wrapped round him. Looked a total prat but he was happy!

Chester one of my cats loves marmite!! and insists on being fussed on the patio table, he'll go out and make a fuss until we go out and give him fuss on the table. Molly hates the patio door being shut when she's out, she'll meaow to come back in, then run off when we open the door - she doens't like us to be by the door when she comes in!
