How do long haired show cats get to look so good?
Is it just by daily brushing and combing?

My little girl is a long haired cat - feral kitten saved by CPL.

Grooming Merlin is a nightmare, so I just try my best. I have been bitten several times.

I was picking out dreadlocks in her chest last night, the rest of her coat is spiky - like an electrocuted punk style.

She has really thick hair and is nice and soft.

She isn't smooth and shiny like a show cat. That must take some grooming - life is too short.

Her brother Frankie is very short haired and handsome.

Yes. daily grooming from being a kitten, and also not being let out like a 'normal' cat. I know which I prefer.
