Looks like the only things you cannot feed them are parsnips and celery, as they produce blisters on their mouth - but why on earth would you want to feed these dear little pigs pineapples...????
Could be a time saving device, Cetti... we often place pineapple rings on our baked ham... cut out the middle man, so to speak...("Dear little pigs?") I see pork chops on the hoof!
Pineapple contains an enzyme (bromelain) that breaks down protein and softens the meat so it might work. It would probably be more cost effective though to marinade the gammon in fresh pineapple juice before cooking.
Oh Clanad you are naughty - and yes, I suppose it does make sense! Have you seen pictures of these tiny little things - you surely wouldn't want to eat these...would you?

Thanks for the answers - not sure about some of them!
They are pets only - not for meat. I just had a friend who gave me some pineapples that had strated to go a bit mouldy on the outside but fine inside. I was simply wondering if my pigs could enjoy them?
Pigs can eat pineapple & it won't do them any harm. I never used to feed mine on it, because it can make the meat taste strange, but if they're only pets & you're not going to eat them anyway, pineapples are fine.

Thanks. They have had the pineapples and they loved them.
We are new pig owners and a little confused as to how much our Kune Kune's need to eat daily. Can anyone advise?
Also, after a debate with another pig owner, can they eat grass cuttings??
