constipated pooch

does anyone have any suggestions for constipation in dogs shes otherwise her usual menacing self apart from she cant poop shes a 5months old springer spaniel

What are you feeding her? I find James wellbeloved the best dog food and never get any probs. constipation can be very unpleasant for her so best to take her to vets for check up as she could get quite ill if she goes for too long without pooping.

Please get her to a vet as pups that young can suffer from dehydration quite easily. She may have eaten a toy or something (sock, underwear, stones etc) which is causing a blockage and is unable to pass it. If she keeps eating and cannot pass anything she will become very ill.
Make sure she has some roughage in her diet, or feed her a complete food, if it is just diet related.

give her some kebab meat with chilli sauce, works for ours everytime lol

cheers guys problem seems to have fixed itself shes more than making up for it now.

you can put some bran in her food. the stuff you make bread with help a lot
