I'm sorry I don't know how to stop him, but you could try shaming him into getting medical help...
Get his mobile and record his snoring, then set it as his ring tone! Phone him several times when he's at work, he should get the message...

ha, ha, I like the way you think! Unfortunately he is a teacher so don't think it would be good to embarrass him in front of his pupils;-o(

Strange thing is that I think he thinks I am making it up just to get at him, but I am not, sometimes I am convinvced the walls are ocillating to his 'snore waves'.

Am going slightly demented!!!

Maybe ear plugs would work. Years ago I used to think it was really cute, not anymore alas!

Still. If I stay on here late enough i will be so exhausted I wont care.

By the way did you read the other comments from corkscrewed's thread last night, would be interested in you take on it.

regards
warpig
Perhaps the insertion of a nice piece of red leicester between the nostrils.
Or perhaps a nice piece of edam to block the passageways of the infernal snoring.
Cheese can go a long way towards curing the causes of snoring.

gadget man, I was thinking more my toe up his @rse, would that work?
Hi warpig,
Just had a browse through last nights answers - gather 3 of them got zapped and were probably posted by Opra, looking at the replies.
I'd forgotton about the Samaritans so would have mentioned them. Other than that, I think we gave good advice.
The question was posted as urgent, and we treated it in all good faith. If I hadn't thought it genuine I wouldn't have bothered replying.
All the advice from others was for a daytime crisis, it was about 3am and we helped by being there.
I think it was genuine, what do you think?
Incidentally, I sent a mail to the ED as I nearly missed the question due to that Hypnotism q. staying on top.

I personally think it was genuine too, there was no abuse just thank you's and believe me, as you will know, if it was a phantom ABer, the the abuse would have been 90 to the dozen! I think we were quite justified, we didnt do anything wrong and you did ask corkscrewed to call their counsellor/doctor . I was slightly miffed today to be reprimanded (slightly) although Octavius was right in what he said. But my point is, what were we supposed to do, ignore it, no way, couldn't do that, as I know neither could you.

Anyway am glad you read the rest of the thread, and yes opra's post were removed, not by me, but they were totally irrelevant to the issue.

Going to bed now as am shattered,
nite nite

Hi warpig3.Hope you got to sleep eventually through mrwarpigs cacophony.I doubt its anything to laugh about but I do like your sense of humour in your threads and answers.Have you seen any of that programme on tv about the sleep disorder clinic ward at Papworth?
One suggestion would be that perhaps you go to bed and tire him out completely rather than sit on tinternet all night! Sounds like the poor sausage is just vying for some of your attention!
my fella snores too warpig. I bought some of those breathe right strips and though they havent stopped him snoring completely they have helped quite a bit :) It took about 5 or 6 nights of using them before i started to notice a difference though and they are blooming expensive, 5.99 for 10 :(
a cold chip up each nostril
Question Author
Thank you for all you suggestings, lol.

crete cold chip up nostrils, pmsl!

Octavius, tried that but he spurned my advances:-o(

pixi, I was thinking of those strips or apparently ther is a spray of some sort you can get.

bigmamma, were there any suggestions for the TV programme, don't think I saw it.
eek at the spray, my husband tried that before the strips, he hated it (though its loads cheaper than the strips, especially the boots own brand one and works okay sometimes)
Question Author
Maybe I'll go for the strip then.
maybe just trade him in for a younger model ?
Question Author
I also like the way you think crete!!!!
my hubby snores so dont go giving me ideas!!!!
Question Author
How do you manage to get to sleepJulie.? It drives me to distraction.
i just turn the telly up warpig and give him a good kick! i think im used to it though and it doesn't bother me too much these days.
It does annoy me when im awaiting for the murderer to be revealed on Miss Marple and he lets out this enormous grunt and i miss it!!!!!!!!!!!! and no, im not joking, that did happen once, id waited an hour and 3/4 for it to be revealed and he did that! That night i hit him with a rolling pin ! :-) or did i jut dream that???oh well LOL
Hi warpig3, check this out...

My brother has used it and his Missus says it really works. I'm thinking of trying it myself. As they offer a 30 day money back guarantee it's worth a go.
