The oldest living cat was a non-pedigree called Spike. Bought in 1970 by Mo Elkington of Bridport, Dorest died in 1999 at 29 years of age.

Sorry Paul but your wrong according to the Guinness book the oldest cat ever was Granpa, who died on April '98 who was 34 years, 2 months and four hours!! Here's a link http://www.recordholders.org/en/news/news056.html
