I have bought a new canister filter for my new aquarium it holds 280 Lt's. When I had just about everything setup & ready, I noticed that the connections were too small to fit around the rim of the aquarium. I am so p******d off. I don't no what to do.... Hmm, should I cut part of the plastic away on the tank, that's stopping the clips from fitting around the top or speak too the people I bought the aquarium from?

Anyone have the same problem with a canister filter?

I would speak to the aquarium sellers. You dont want to ruin a new aquarium when they can perhaps easily sort it for you. I had never heard of these before but after reading about them, I think it would be beyond my scope to fit it. The size of my fish he would have come out and done it himself.
