Only recently my bunny has been making quite loud noises all the time. It is like a throaty cough noise as though she is breathing loudly and she does it all the time as she walks and moves. Do all rabbits do this, she never used to, only since she became about 6 months old?

My rabbit used to do this too, normally when it was annoyed if I was playing with it too much!

No, this is not normal. She may have an upper respiratory infection. As these can easily become fatal in rabbits, I would not hesitate to get her to the vet. Have you had her spayed yet? If not, now is definitely the time. You might want to talk to the vet about that too :) Good luck!

deffinately check out the infection idea with the vet but rabbits do make grunting noises when there not happy and they even squeel when really upset
