My Mum was talking tonight about an advert with two blokes trying to pass themselves off as women. She said something about TSB but as Lloyds have taken over TSB I know it`s not their ad because that`s the one with the cartoon characters and the irritating music.
Could it be Matt Lucas and David Walliams from Little Britain? Which advert is it please?

Thanks mark. I thought it must be little britain. My mum will love it when she finds out I`ve got all the Little Britain series on DVD.
Matt Lucas is certainly plastered all over the walls and windows of our local Nationwide at the moment!
It is definitely Nationwide, who are definitely NOT a bank.

The marketing people at Nationwide would love you !!! LOL

One of the executions is specifically designed to underline their status as a BS not a Bank!

You should get yourself onto some Research Panels - you could really wind them up.
:-)

If it pays I'll do that. lol. I wasn't particularly fussed about what sort of savings/ financial outlet it was at the time.
Seems an odd choice for the adverts it's not like Little Britain is fresh anymore... the last series (USA) is two years old now.
True but probably cheaper now because of that.

W&L will be happy to wring a few more quid out of it - Walliams could use it to pay for his honeymoon!
.
Yes it's Walliams and Lucas doing their "we are laaydees" characters in the Nation wide ad.
Is for Nationwide, and is Matt Lucas and David Walliams as Emily and Florence from Little Britain.
They also do the Vicky Pollard one....where's she wants chips with that account.
or as she says "cheps"
Yea...and Williams has his nose against the glass.
I love those adverts. There are so many bad ones at the moment.
