My husband says that the white haired old lady who has appeared in Emmerdale (Mrs King?) for the wedding is the same woman from the 1st series of Little Britain who David Walliams took a fancy to (remember, Mat Lucas's granny who David Walliams did unmentionables to, especially when she was choking!)

I say it's not the same old lady. Am I right?

Thanks!

i don't think it's the same old lady. she's not as sweet and her voice is different. although, i do think she's been in something recently....

i'm sure it's not the same old lady. she's not as sweet and her voice is much deeper. however, she does look familiar....
sorry about the repetition - bit of a mix up!
I  remember her from a bank (Barclays?) advert some time ago saying she wanted to be in conglomerates - or words to that effect.
She was definitely in bank ads. I seem to remember her wandering from branch to branch and becoming increasingly depressed as she found they'd all been turned into wine bars, knocking shops etc.
that's it!! it's been really bugging me! she was the first to say - "There is another way"

She also was on the Harry Hill Show.

Yes, it's the "trendy wine bar" lady from the NatWest adverts.
