Has anyone tried the above from lastminute? What's the attraction, is it just the lucky dip aspect? I need to book a night in London and have been tempted by the prices on some of the top secret deals but how do you know you are getting such a good deal?

I've not done it but if you copy and paste the hotel description and put it into a google search.. you can usually see which hotel it is.

Don't know about the Secret Hotels. Has anyone tried Hotwire and is it any good?
