I was born in 1961.
But reading the article - don't you mean - are you 61 years of age (i.e. born in 1948) ??

I think I was quite fortunate being born in 1948. There didn't seem to be many unemployed, there was still some rationing but people seemed to manage and help each other more then.
I was also very lucky to complete my education before the abolition of grammar schools, which I think made a great difference to my career choices.

Born in 1961 - but now 48. Same numbers - just the other way around!

i was born march 24 1948,very cold and icy,no central heating etc.but i've had a good upbringing and a happy life,i would'nt change it?
