Does anyone know what the piano music is for the 'on the bbc this week' advert. Unfortunately i cant find a video for it but it isn't shown regularly.

I think the music is by Brian Eno from a 1978 recording called "Music fo Airports". There are four tracks on the album called 1/1, 2/1, 1/2, and 2/2. In the advert they use a snippet of 1/1. The whole track lasts over 17 minutes.
Btw there always seems to be a lot of Brian Eno used in ads and promo's as background music. He is known as the "Father of Ambient music" because he was among the first producing ambient music before it was hip.
