Does anybody remember an advert shot in black and white in New York where a little girl with very curly hair in a double breasted coat and patent leather shoes was walking along the streets holding the hand of her dad. (although you only saw his arm and hand) Jazz music played and at the end she was put into a black car. I cant remeber what it was advertising I think it was either a car or a bank . I would love to watch it again as the little girl looks like my granddaughter.

I can remember the advert, I think it was for Volkswagen Golf, and suggesting that you would only put your most precious things in a safe car. I have tried to find it though, but can't so maybe someone else will be able to find it for you.
It was definitely for a car, something bigger than a Golf though, and the song used was Billie Holliday's "God Bless The Child"
Yes it was definately a car. My youngest daughter is the double of her (not realted are we Wisteria 55 lol?) too and I often think of the ad when looking at her.
Still having a look around, but to narrow your search, the car was a Volkswagon Passat.
It was shot in a seedy area of New York, the idea being that you would feel safe in this car.
