Another O.C.Question - Episode 16 "The Rivals"

There's a song in this episode playing when Ryan is searching through the school's permanent records for information about Oliver. There's a bassy song in the background which sounds like Placebo but I have no idea what it's called and I've had no joy searching elsewhere. The only line of lyrics says "Come into my room, see the leaves beneath the trees." This song also plays later in the episode when Ryan decides to read the letter. Any idea what it is?
