i am considering buying a vauxhall astra with an easytronic gearbox , have read they can be troublesome. can anyone advise me?

We went to look at the new Corsa last year & being fed up with manual gearboxes in London traffic, I asked the salesmen`s opinion on this "automatic" option. He said they tended to be rather jerky compared to a real auto box, & he didn`t like them.

thanks, my son was told the same thing,but did not know if they ware trying to sell him the model that was in stock
