If you want to see a special preview at the cinema, do you have to book the tickets in advance or can you just buy them on the day?

I think it depends on the cinema, where you are in the country and the time of the viewing. Went to one in the summer and just turned up Sunday afternoon without booking and there were barely 10 people in.
But if it's a mega hyped film on Friday night you may not get in. Try your cinemas website or ring them and ask directly.
