What is the oldest ad currently running on (UK) television? I saw one the other day for (I think) Strepsils, very old.

Well, I would hazard a guess that the National Accident Helpline advert with the...35ish woman with short hair must be a major contender. I swear it's been on for 3 years at least.
To me, the Direct Line "when is a good deal not a good deal..." ads have been running since time began. Them and "Intel Inside" are the only ads to make me scramble furiously for the remote.
The one with the kid sitting on the toilet saying "its all gone, its all gone" has been going on for a while. And its very annoying!

I like the Lockets ad though. Lol
i saw the hellmans christmas advert the other day and that must be years old??

do christmas add's count?

or.......... the yellow pages advert with the kid who looks like robbie williams standing on the book to give the girl a kiss!!
The Famous Grouse ads are quite funny. They have been getting an airing in the run up to Xmas for a couple of years now.
What about the Aquafresh advert? I remember that from when I was a kid in the 80's, And I have seen it several times over the years and it is still being shown on the tv now. Daffi x
The one with the big scary bloke with a moustache and a bad suit .Had an accident not your fault seems to have been on for ever
