If it's the same one I'm thinking about (the one that ends up with David Beckham - "the most powerful right kick") the music was the theme tune from Law and Order - I am pretty sure it doesn't have another name, I will try and find out.
All I can find out is it was written by Mike Post especially for the show.

I dont think it is the law and order theme, i've just downloaded it and it isn't the music that is on the advert. Any other suggestions?
make sure you've got the current Law and Order theme - I downloaded it and got the wrong one as well!. The current one is orchestral sounding, very dramatic, definitely the one on the ad!
have a look at this - it seems the UK theme is diferent from the US one, which would explain why we keep getting the wronquestion 8192 download!
that link is too long so doesn't work - try again http://tinyurl.com/2l7qr
yup, Rob Dougan it is - there are plenty of versions on WinMx, I have downloaded a version with singing, and am currently downloading the instrumental version. Another little mystery explained (although I can understand why Channel 5 didn't like the twee original theme)
me again - just found this which makes mention of the music in the ad http://www.robdougan.net/
