Whilst on our honeymoon in Jamaica we heard a song being played we liked. We could not find out who sang it.

We then returned home and on one episode in Eastenders it was being played in the Q.Vic! We contacted BBC who were unable to give us the answer. We know which episode it is on but so far totally unable to find out the songs information. We need to get hold of that episode.

CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?!

Do you know any of the songs lyrics? If you do write them out and someone might recognise the song. What episode of Eastenders was it?

yeah, say which episode and maybe someone will remember.

I am sorry I do not know the words but it was a RnB type track. I have even tried the Jamaican Top 40!

The episode was first played in 2001, Oct 11th Thursday.

And was when Mo reported Zoe was missing to the Police.

It was 'being played' on the dukebox in the Queen Vic.

Hope "YOU" can help!
jesus, i thought you meant like.........last Tuesday!! Sorry i will be f no use to you good luck x
if you contact the Production Asst on Eastenders at Elstree they would have to have a record as I used to work in Production there and any BBC programme has to list any music they use for copyright purposes but it is going back a bit!

by the year you are saying could it be sexiest man in Jamaica by Mint Royale?

Memore - Many thanks for the info and I will do just that! As for the track you suggested, unfortunately it isn't the track. The only thing I can clearly remember is a short piano tune being repeated through the song with a really low bass beat!

Apologies for being so vague!!
Have a listen to some Bob Marley - it may have been that.

Definately NOT Bob Marley.

It was an up to date (at the time) track.!!!
