Hi, a while ago was diognized with having a varicocele. The verdict was it didn't need to be treated/removed but this is something i would like to do for cosmetic reasons. I'm aware there's two options for removal -traditional surgery + embolization -whether the later is offered near where i am i'm not sure. If any one who knows something of this issue - any experience/advice that you think may be of use would be greatly appreciated. Soon I plan on contacting the specialists in my area and finding out who/what is best for me and any info on costs /recovery time /other would be great. Cheers

Be aware you don't have accept a specific treatment just because it is near to you, if you find a hospital further away that performs the other procedure you can ask your Dr to refer you if that is what you want.
