The advert is quite old and was for Persil Washing Powder. The song "You Make me Feel Brand NEw" was originally sung by The Stylistics. Hope this helps.

Simply Red do a great version of this song on their CD "Home" by the way. Just thought you might be interested!

The advert in fact, was for Bio Tex. It was seen in about 1985 and if I can remember rightly it was a very sexy ad, with a semi naked woman! Nice! Bio Tex made the easy chore of getting that foursome off your clothes of blood, sweat, gravy and egg. One can only speculate how the last two got there, of course.
