It's bugging me. This advert, when they show the waterfall. I swear they're playing the video backwards and the water is going upwards.
I keep forgetting about it, then not really looking when it comes on and just getting a glimpse.
Can anyone confirm or refute this?

i think its going backwards aswell, probably cause they wanted the shot to zoom out but the one they had zoomed in so they just reversed it, instead of going to shoot it again. you just cant go messing about with nature like that, surely??
I thought I was me, it's definitely going backwards isn't it.
I think so too!
Saw it last night ...definitely backwards ...

You'll also notice a lot of advert with DIY scenes in seem to be flipped horizontally, therefore screws turning anti-clockwise go inwards ...

It happens a lot in adverts ...
It's an advert for the HSBC green sale, and as it's about trying to preserve and restore all of nature, it's to symbolise that they're reversing natures decline.
No! Your not going mad....The water did flow UP the fall in the initial adverts but it has since been amended. I thought I was going mad too!
This was the posting that caused me to find this web site.
At first I thought it was the 'strobe' effect (wheels going backwards etc.) But then I became convinced it was actually going backwards. Last night I noticed it was correct. So i thought someone out there (on the net) would know!! I was right.
