I don't think I've seen the ad yet but I think Eartha Kitt had a version out some time ago. Could it be that one??

It is deffinitely Eartha Kitt.

the version that is on the debenhams ad, is not Eartha Kitt, it's a drum and bass version, also does wnyone know who the dancer is?

It is definitely not Eartha Kitt. I've been trying to find out who it is but not having much luck.

Is it a remix of The Pussycat Dolls perhaps?

Of course it could have been specially recorded for the advert.

I've got to agree with you 'pitstopbunny' having just heard the ad it doesn't sound anything like Eartha Kitt, however if you check out the link below she is mentioned in the credit....the mystery deepens!

However it does mention the dancers name, in answer to janie4290210.

I think I'm becoming obsessed with this search!! I've listened to 14 different recordings of this song - there are many, many more - and the nearest I have found is by an actress/singer called Cynthia Basinet from an album "For you with love". If you go onto her website cynthiabasinet.com it opens up with her singing Santa Baby.

I'm retiring from this now!!!
