My whole family wants to know how they get the fat guy to appear so genuinely overweight for the Skoda ad. I said padding but it's one of the best makeup jobs I've ever seen if it is one. Does anyone know how they actually did it?

it must be padding, as when he does a headstand it dosen't move like real flab would. I have no idea how they do it though
It is all done with computers. A real gymnast does the move in a special suit first to capture the 'perfect' moves.
Then they do the same wearing a 'Fat Suit' the results are digitally edited to create the result.
The music is also a specially digitally edited piece of 'snatches' of Tchaikovsky Ballet music played as a unique piece that only really exsist on that ad. Very Clever. Probably cost a fortune. Please don't send me the Bill though :D

Just out of curiosity are you in the business? How did you manage to find that out?
No I'm not 'in the business' just very interested and found this info out ages ago when the ad first came out. There are masses of sites that give info and background to ads. I just seem to stumble on them - using Google.
