I remember it was repeated on ITV1 in 1986 (I think) on a Sunday afternoon every week. It was getting to a climactic episode then all of a sudden, unannounced it was replace by 'Baby and **' ** the following week, a program about parental skills for new born babies....grrr how I hate ITV for such a inconsiderate act!

I remember "Star Fleet" very well. Excellent show; action packed and quite emotional at times. I tried to get my mates to watch it, pleading that it was quality, but they all merely mocked!!
Always really liked the music as well. Brian May and Friends covered the main theme on their "Star Fleet Project" "LP" (the rest of which was pretty rubbish - especially a 12 minute blues dirge - so I got rid of it fairly sharpish and just bought the single). I can't remember offhand who did the original (Paul someone?).
