Does anyone know the theme to the new BBC sitcom "Saxondale" that was trailed on BBC1 tonight. It was also a theme in the mid-late 70's on a kids (?) program, and featured a Jethro Tull type flute. It's doing my head in trying to remember. Thanks

"The Hall Of The King" by Dutch prog-rockers Focus as used for the theme of 70's science series "Don't Ask Me" presented by Dr Magnus Pyke amongst others.

Ahhh, thanks Kempie. Exactly what i was looking for. I can put my mind to bed now. Amazing what the brain stores in it's dark recesses.
Thank god! This was driving me up the wall too.
Kempie, cheers!
Thanks for clearing that up...my husband and I could not decide between Focus or Jethro Tull. Incidentally, most of the other music in the series IS Jethro Tull, and very fine it is too. Great to hear it again
The programme was called Looks Natural
Thank goodness someone knows their stuff, I was sure it was Jethro Tull, but you put me on the straight and narrow!. I remember that programme too......back in the day eh?
Cheers again...

Actually, it's House of the King, not Hall. Just in case you go looking for it on iTunes (it's there, by the way).
I've also heard Hocus Pocus by Focus used as the closing music.
