You've Got To Laugh Haven't You?

I get a corn develop on the inside of my toe (the one next to my little toe). I have no idea how this happens must be my little toe rubbing against the other one.
Anyway, when this happened a couple of years ago, I successfully removed it using corn plasters. However, I have tried the same thing this time around, but I can't seem to get rid of it completely. I can remove the hard skin around the centre of the corn, but not the bit right in the middle. As there is now new skin around the hard bit, I can't keep applying corn plasters as they'll damage the new skin. Is there a localised cream that I can use just on the remaining hard bit of skin to get rid of it without damaging the surrounding skin?
