Update , got this from Ian Wilson who actually did the version in the advert.

just wanted to correct your assertion that the version of 'What a Wonderful World' on the Suzuki Vitara ad is sung by Joey Ramone. Suzuki wanted his version but were not prepared to pay the vast amount of money asked for, so a friend of mine, David Mills recorded a (albeit very similar) version with myself singing. We signed away any rights to our own recording as we're not professional musicians but wanted to hear ourselves on telly

I found the song over limwire but it isnt the exact version is there any way of getting the exact version(with out the singing of the people on the advert)

Since the I've heard nowt , and when I tried the email recently it was bounced back. So if you see this David , people still want your version!! Also Suzuki are re running the ad now (Apr 07)
