Does anyone know the piece of music between programmes where the crowd are jumping up and down?

It's the same piece of music used for all the other BBC 'idents' - each suitably adapted to fit the theme; tranquil for the tai-chi version; bhangra for the Bollywood version; Latino-style for the whatever-that-dance-is-called version etc etc (oh, and ravy for the cheesy quaver version)


It was especially commisioned by the BBC (it avoids the royalty payouts every time it's played) and composed by one Peter Lawler. It is not (and unlikely ever to be) available commercially.

If it's the same one they played a while back, then the answer above is not right. Try "My Sacrifice" by Creed

It is most likely specially commissioned for bbc. It might have been composed by David Lowe (he did the new bbc news music etc). he does release his more popular compositions on cd. check out his website: http://www.davidlowemusic.com/
