the tune he's playing is yankee doodle dandy, if it's the one i think you're talking about

I think it was either in southern comfort or deliverance and it might have been by ry cooder. As for what it is called, I think it is commonly known as yankee doodle dandy but you are best off googling levis ads and going from there

I remember hearing a song as a kid that was this tune, one of the lyrics was 'stuck a feather in his hat and called it macaroni'. Could it be this guy is noodling on his guitar? ;)
