If you are disliking it maybe it's time for a change?
get a mobile home....
flash-camping? Sounds like what a effeminate exhibitionist might do.
I used to go to loads of festivals every summer when I was a lot younger, and in all honesty the only thing that made them tolerable when it rained all the time was copious amounts of alcohol and dodgy cigarettes.
Don't they call it glamping
Don't do it
How about hiring one of those motor homes?
I think that's what I said, naomi :-)

glamping thats it! i knew it was something like that!! camping is cheaper than getting a near by hotel. and all the near by hotels have been taken so cant do that...
i like the motorhome idea but its pricey!
You can rent motor homes and caravans.
your most essential equipment when camping at a rain sodden festival is a snow sledge, or 'beer transporter' as it is generally known, available from your nearest asda.tesco.
One of my mates grandson has been going download for years with a bunch of mates, one of the things they do is pitch the tents fairly close together then spread large tarpaulin's across them to make a big dry area between them. Personally I think camping is a pretty crap way to spend the time and there's not really much you can do to improve the experience unless you really go up market.
Glamping is probably pricier than a motorhome! Som of them are pretty luxurious

oh paddywalk thats a good idea! i might try that so we have somewhere dry. all the tickets to park your motorhome have sold out! :(
One of the lads' dad is a lorry driver and he gets them a wagon sheet to use, gives them enough dry space to cook, eat and indulge in all the things a bunch of teenagers do at a festival.
Hire a classic camper van..
