I am feeling great. Husband and daughter have just left for the charity shop with 8 large black bags.

Do you feel good after a good clear-out?

Will you be letting husband and daughter back?!!! ;)

I know exactly how you feel Euphemia, I just don't know how we manage to accumulate such junk.

Always. I plan to have another clear out this week as I'm on holiday.
Well done to you! Eight bags is a very good clear out.
Andrews Liver Salts works for me.
We have been clearing out all our junk for the last couple of weeks. I needed something to keep me busy after I stopped smoking so that is what I did, I also bought new curtains, bedding and new soft furnishings out of the money I saved from not smoking.
Wow, that was money well-spent ,daffy. Good for you too.
Daffy...didn't you give up fr stoptober?
If you did, well done you!

Yeah, very well done, daffy.
I did Lisa, day 28 today and still going strong. OH also (sort of) quit 2+ weeks ago (he's on e-cigs) so we've saved about £250.00 this month between us.
Well done Euphemia
shooty, you have stumbled into CB, no escape now

.... and I'm not finished yet. Have booked the daughter for next weekend.
Couldn't agree more - a cathartic declutter is the very thing.
I will be when its done...my charity stuff has mostly gone but I have a single car garage shoulder high (no joke) with rubbish. I have a man coming to take it away, then i will feel good.
Wolfie - did you knit the poppy on your Avatar? Did you see my posting yesterday on Chatterbank giving the pattern .............
Sorry should have said woofgang not wolfie - 2 different people :)
Every week I take a few books to a charity shop. Alas as I work there two days per week I usually end up buying even more books.

My brother wants me to de-clutter - so that, should I die before him, he won't be faced with the task. He has already promised to "take care" of my two lovely moggies. ;-)
no Anne, sadly I am no knitter....actually I think my avatar is crochet.
