Papworth charge £2.50 for visitor car parking; so how much is it costing the royal family to park their helicopter?

i was *nearly* charged £7 per day in a leicester hospital (when i was there for training) once! i parked in my hotel and got a taxi cheaper!

anyway, no doubt the queen's flight will land on the roof and be ushered to the private room, even if it isn't 'official visiting time' ...

I think it's the Queen's helicopter as it's a sort of posh maroon colour.........and as she's the Queen she can park it anywhere she likes!

Anyway the helicoper counts as an ambulance and does not pay parking charges.

Prince Philip is part of the Royal family whether you like it or not, and they generate millions over overseas business to the economy of the UK. I am not a royalist by any means but the Royals have their place in Society, just as ballet and 'modern' art, both extremely boring to me but others live by it.
