Thanks for removing the thread yesterday as requested. I wanted some information, which was pretty much satisfactory/ok and then I didn't want to leave a 'print' as such, I did want the thread permanently deleted and thank you for that.

That oughta make for an interesting new topic:

"Threads pulled @ request of author"

. . . & I have a sneeky suspicion this one might qualify . . . ;o)

Laughing - mibn
Well, I'm glad you finally got at least one satisfactory answer on ab, Seadragon. :o)
ps . . . I don't suppose you could let us in on what the answer was . . . at least? The mind boggles . . . ;o)
Question Author
I didn't get one satisfactory answer Mibn, I was satisfied in the curious sense. It was interesting that Sara had applied and got to the 4th interview and I don't know if Jake's link was real or a mess about as the link wouldn't open but the words 'virtual tour' suggested the link may be dubious. I will never know.

Not clicked into this site since I last answered hence my late reply. Hope now I have satisfied your boggling mind? *~)
The tour was dull by the way.
Dam your luck, Seadragon. :o(

I typically aspire to provide answers of Jake's caliber of excellence . . . not that the quality of many of my own answers suffice to establish me as an authority for those who might be better off without an endorsement from me. ;o)

But if something I post should at least encourage a continuation of ones pursuit of answers then I feel I have served a worthwhile purpose. Do you suppose I might be a victim of my own limited expectations, or is that an unrealistic perspective regarding my potential abilities?

By the way . . . what was your question anyway? ;o)

Oh, nevermind me. We're both probably lucky the thread got pulled before I had a chance to embarrass myself . . .

erm . . . could you maybe delete this one too Ed?
mibn2cweus

I too was curious as to what was the subject of the thread
I think it was a question as to how to join MI5 .
Question Author
No Berti the author's question made no reference to MI5. The purpose for permanent deletion of the thread is to erase all existence of it having existed thus no allusion should raise the non-existence of a subject denied its very existence in the first place. All curiosity appeased *~)

Mibn - Your aspiration to attain the 'calibre of excellence' you eloquently describe is most commendable, admirable, praise-worthy and if I dare say, somewhat preys upon my sympathy, especially in your assertion that there are 'those who might be better off without an endorsement from me.'

A person, such as I interpret you to be, who is interesting, understanding, encouraging and self-conscious, not only serves a worthwhile purpose simply by the fact of their existence but their attractive modesty suggests that their potential abilities are far greater than they recognise or acknowledge of themselves. That is the only limitation I see.
Question Author
Now since I have embarrassed myself much more than I would have ordinarily allowed in my praise of your abilities, I adjoin my name to yours in asking for this thread to also be deleted.

I must finally say that it is the damned/corruptible 'sympathy' you have so politely elicited from the pit of my soul that asks for this emrarrassed to be eradicated. *~)
Question Author
sorry - 'that asks for this embarrassment to be eradicated'

More evidence of the mistakes one makes on an empty stomach!
Seadragon, Admittedly only a hunch but as nearly as I can surmise from available facts I suspect is was not to save yourself from embarrassment that prompted your thread removal request, but that you were acting on behalf of someone else who might have benefited from your kindly assistance. That being the most reasonable assumption I can make based entirely on my previous experience with you I have decided to redirect my curiosity to areas where it might be welcome and I too might be of assistance.

There is however one unambiguous conclusion I have been able to draw from this . . . you have a sense of humour. :o)
Question Author
Thank you for the compliment Mibn. It's time we part. I have enjoyed talking to you. Have a great weekend - I suggest hitting a Soul Club and boogeying down!

Lots of Love
