The sooner that AB Ed removes CB from AB the better.
I used to join in the amusing banter,BUT now it seems to be full of senseless bitchery,and vituperative agression.

BTW,it was just this sort of mindless warfare that caused the original CB to be removed.

Sorry, Mr V, but I have to disagree.

While AB would, quite possibly, be better without many of the posts in CB, removing Chatterbank wouldn't solve the problems.

The last time CB was removed all that happened was that 'chatterbankers' moved into 'Body & Soul'. As a result, people who might have been considering a post about something which was seriously worrying them (such as seeking support for a relative with a disabling condition) probably took one look at that section and decided against it.

CB might be 'a bit of a shambles' but at least (for most of the time) it keeps the idiots out of AB's 'serious' sections.

Mr V -with all due respect the site is monitered Monday to Friday office hours so people who are liable to become monstrous behave.When the lights go out on Friday at 5pm then all hell breaks loose.

Its only one or two but they drag decent users into it.

Why dont you as a well respected member Email the ed with your concerns as he is more liable to take if from you.

What do they get out of such arguments,threats and agression.
What sort of home life do they have that they feel this way?

If you actually look through the posts on CB, Mr V, you'll see that there are only two or three really troublesome posters (plus a few people who get into arguments because of bearing grudges against those same people). The vast majority of people around here are generally very pleasant.

Please keep posting on CB, Mr V, so that we don't let the idiots win. (Oops! Sorry, according to another post tonight, that request probably makes me guilty of 'snobbery'. Oh well, c'est le vie!)
