OK, all i want is to be able to share the songs I like on my blog, or failing that, on another website I can link to from my blog. I was directed to castpost but that is not taking any more subscribers. It's driving me mad! Is there any way I can simply download a track and make it available for others?

Are these songs composed by you? If not, i.e., if they're popular songs in the charts etc., they'll be copyrighted, so you won't be able to share them. It's illegal.

You can always use http://www.last.fm to show people what you've been listening to.
