This is really worrying. Can you do something about it? Kind Abers have told me it's fake.

considering they can't even spell service, yes, I'd say it was a fake. Ignore it. On the other hand, lots of people are having problems with AB at the moment, as you'll have noticed. I hope they get sorted.

If you haven't done so already, close Safari by double clicking the Home button and swiping Safari up.

Then go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and website data.
While you are there, Block pop-ups.
What have the unking ABers said?

Am I one of the few who doesn't get excited about these pop-ups?

Very droll, Talbot.

Did you look at the picture I posted? It insinuated that all my passwords and security had been, compromised. It wasn't just an advert trying to sell me, shoes etc.
G'afternoon chrissa.......The message you received was a definite scam which was designed to frighten you into telephoning the supposed support team who would then offer to 'clean-up' your equipment at an agreed cost. However, the real purpose would be to obtain your bank details, with a possible clearing-out of your account.

Ignore the 'pop-up' and rest in the knowledge that AB staff will be 'on-the-ball' tomorrow. Well that is if the Ed pays attention to all the complaints which have been submitted this weekend via his Blog section.

Hans.

Thanks, Hans.
Yes, it is rubbish, and we've gotten rid of it so it shouldn't appear anymore.
