Username And Password Problem

Ed, why do I have to fill in my username and p/word every time I ask a question.? I registered for AB ages ago

I have to do it if it's the first answer of the day, to log in - but not every time I answer a Q (like this one)

Are you logging out each time you finish? If so you will have to enter username and password when you come back.

Do you delete your cookies regularly? The thing that helps us remember you is a cookie, so removing them (for example, every time you close down a browser) would mean you're forgotten.

It happens to me as well. If I log out then sometimes I can't log back in for ages.
