Friday. Patchy cloud with the stars peeping round them. can't tell if it's likely to rain later.
I want it dry and preferably sunny tomorrow. I have friends coming up from Yate for the day. I'm looking forward to seeding them.
Tiggy has just been in, taking food back to the nest, so all is well in tiggyland. Still no sign of foxy. I reckon he's well enough to look after himself now. I hope he's found a pretty vixen to keep him occupied.
Morning BT. Somewhere about the usual time, but no nonsense trying to get on line this morning. :o}
I'll be having all that dust shortly, complete heating system replacement. I'mm looking forward to the updated heating, it should be cheaper to run, but not the cleaning up afterwards.
There is an open day today to see what it's all about. I shall go and have a look. Everyone on the estate, (all 79 bungalows) have the option of having it done, paid for by the council.
I'll find out today what they are planning and decide if I will go for it or not. I'm going to the open day with an open mind. If I go for it there is a lot of heavy stuff to move. It'll give me the chance to decide what to keep and what to ditch.
Will be back in a bit, hard hat time this morning one up at (eeek now!) 5, t'other two at 5.30.
New central heating - don't get me started. We've had more problems with the new system than the old one - nice one council! (not)
I've no idea if it's cheaper or more efficient at all.
Out about 7.30 this morning. Have a lot to do today so I want to get an early start.
Hope everyone is well?
Yes boaty, looks like Foxy has moved house and didn't give you a forwarding address. Who knows, if it goes belly up with the girlfriend, maybe he'll come wandering back.
My gas installer(he's been "servicing me for about 15 years !!. No rude comments thank you !) does quite a lot of installations for the local council. The boilers he is given to install are always giving problems afterwards and are prone to rusting.
