Money no object. No places are too dangerous to visit. You have no health worries. You may take a companion. Where would you go? Three choices available.
I stayed in a wonderful hotel in Scotsdale, Arizona 22 years ago, as I was visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West at the time. It was fabulous and the scenery was stunning...right bang in the middle of the Valley of the Sun. The barman made the best Margaritas I have ever tasted.
The photos in this link are exactly how it looked that September in 1991.
Daisy...been mulling over your question and reading other posts...I have been lucky to travel to some amazing places but there are so many more.
However, the place I would go if I could blink and be there now is the west coast of Ireland...in a cave..a heated cave....and no people for miles around.
Sounds lovely Gness. Never been to Ireland, on my to do list which means a possibility. Where I want to go but think it may not be a good idea is Kashmir. Has always fascinated me.
Depends on the time of year but....
Greek Islands, an uncrowded pure white sandy beach
Austria at Christmas with a sleigh ride
Norwegian Fjords to see the northern lights.
On....further....reflection I will stick with Kabul but extend it to wider Afghanistan, still want to do Japan but I'll park Fiji and go for Madagascar.
Road trip from Leptis Magna in Libya to Palmyra in Syria taking in along the way the Siwa Oasis in western Egypt, Askelon, some Dead Sea swimming, pootle about the sea of Galilee in a little boat and of course drive on to Baalbek.
If it was just me, probably Mexico, Iceland and New Zealand. If it was my daughter's and me, I would revisit Bodufinolhu in the Maldives, Australia and Italy because my daughter's love asking me questions about the favourite places I visited before they were born. Oh, I wish...!
