I would like to see Becks light the olympic cauldron - Sir Steve Redgrave has his knighthood - Daley is questionable - although there are many other atheletes who deserve an accolade I will go with David Beckham.

Seriously, I would find it hard to see past Redgrave for his accomplishments over a prolonged period of time.

Any Olympian at all, just as long as it is not some "celeb".
