We came across a lovely village pub at Church Lawford near Rugby,Warwickshire,that offers a 48oz (1360g) rump steak.has anyone come across a larger one?

Fraid not....I can barely finish an 8oz.
If you want a bigger one then you need to go on a holiday to the USA ! They tend to put the whole Steer on your plate there ;-)
There used to be a restaurant in Austin, Texas that advertised a 48oz steak with the offer that if you ate it all together with a bowl of fries you could either have an additional one free or they wouldn't charge for a 24oz steak for "the little lady".

I'm so hungry right now, I'd have a go at that 48 ouncer...
I had a 64oz one in Hawaii needless to say I couldnt finish it,I managed just under half of it.
48oz? That's just a nibble!

what was the pub ma1den, im in that area, not that im wanting a 48oz steak mind, gawd noooo, i couldnt eat an any oz steak, let alone one that blummin size! lol

Its got to br "The Pld Smithy" in Church Lawford, I live in Rugby and I think its the only pub in Church Lawford
