had a lovely chicken casserole for tea, then fancied something sweet so took the healthy option and had a few nuts and raisins that did'nt do the trick so i'm now on the chocolate, i have lost 2 stone in the last six months with a combination of diet and exercise, but the way im going i will be putting it all back on again.
I am NEVER satisfied.
I don't have to worry about my weight as I never seem to put any on (No matter what I eat).
I would LOVE to be in a room full of Jelly Babies and Midget Gems and some cakes.
That is heaven...
But no,
I don't get a room full of Midget Gems, I get people talking about chicken casseroles!(Yuk! I can't stand ANY casseroll!)
Greedy im treating myself a little to often lately although i do tell myself as i am exercising i can afford to, just wish that when i've had that little treat that was enough.
I normally opt for strawberries or pineapple as a sweet for after dinner
the problem with eating sweets or chocolate is the addictiveness, the more times you have them the more times you will crave them, your body gets used to the massive sugar hit. chocolate is massively fattening to any diet.
Sometimes it is better to stop and think what it is you really want and just have that, nuts and raisins are full of calories too so you might as well have the high cocoa solids chocolate and get rid of the craving while having a good dose of anti oxidants and magnesium. I'm doing a low carb diet and high cocoa solids chocolate is my lifeline
I love jelly babies too but can't indulge because I'm diabetic, but I do buy sugar free jelly crystals and always have a bowl of jelly in the fridge, soo when I've got the urge I attack that bowl of jelly and that seems to satisfy me, it also gives the feeling that I'm full so I don't want to attack anything else.
