I know I've a lot on my mind, but I've just slung a handful of dried cat food in the tumbler dryer.

Do you think the cat would appreciate a dishful of wet undies?

LMAO!!!!

I don't think kitty will be amused at getting wet undies for dinner x

This isn't animal related, but I cracked the other evening, I'd been considering whether to have a cup of coffee (my usualy hot drink), or a cup of redbush tea to try and help me relax and get a good night sleep. I had a lot on my mind at the time (I had the job interview the next day).

It wasn't until after I had filled the cup with hot water and squeezed the T bag that I realised I had put both in the cup :o/

It's all to do with us females having too much to think about!!! Men don't have that problem.

Did you enjoy your drink ;o)

I'm so sorry I am trying so hard not to laugh out loud, the others in my office might wonder what I'm up to!

Lakitu, was it you who nearly made a mistake with the slow cooker?!

I was clearing things up last night after dinner, and said (out loud), kitchen utensil in hand that I needed to put it in the slow cooker. :-(
you cat should count his/herself lucky. I tumbled dried my cat once! bet she'd have rather had soggy undies :)
LOL, I didn't drink it, it didn't look too great, I dread to think how that would have tasted. I made a fresh COFFEE ;o)

Haha rinkins, I asked if I could switch on the slow cooker the night before and it would still be a nice dinner after getting home from work the next day. I ended up having to put the empty slow cooker in the middle of my bedroom floor so I would HAVE to notice it in the morning and remind me to switch it on before leaving work.

Your putting the utensil in the cooker reminds me of the time I couldn't find my cordless phone, I was missing calls and just couldn't figure out where the darn thing was. I found it the next evening when I was preparing my dinner in the utensil drawer. I have no idea how I managed that one LOL.
OMG Red! was the cat OK?
Think everyone does strange stuff like that sometimes i've gone to my fridge before now to get some sausages out and was somewhat surprised that there was none in there when I knew I'd only used half the pack, after some quiet swearing about my then housemate I just forgot about it

couple of days later when getting a tea towel out I found my half pack of sausages in the tea towel drawer!

quite how or why I'd put them in there I don't know!

OMG Red, I live in fear of tumble drying the cat, she often sneaks in there. How long was she in there?

I found a long lost block of cheese in the tea towel drawer once!! :o).

Puddicat had a wonderful thread just before Christmas about things like this.

Undies are now happily drying off in the tumbler and cat biscuits are in the bowl.

Just wondering if can manage to get to the hairdresser in one piece - my mind is elsewhere today!!!
cat was a bit shaken but OK.
The tumbler is in conservatory and usually i open door, shove washing in, close tumbler and walk straight out after switching on. If i close the conservtory door i cant hear it.
Little CRX distracted me after i opened the tumbler door and started putting washing in. When i went back i shoved rest in and turned it on. I stopped briefly to check something and heard a thud in tumbler. I started wondering what it was......a belt?........buckles on kids dungers?.......... what was it?

I opened the door after about 15 seconds and out jumped the cat!

If id walked straight out of room id never have heard her.

She was a bit dizzy but just gave me a filthy look and strutted off.

Phew, just imagine if you hadn't gone back! Doesn't bear thinking about.
Oh yes, we women get distracted all right because we have so much on our minds. On Monday my work colleague took her lunch box out of her bag, opened it-and there was the raw liver she had taken out of the freezer that morning to leave out for that night's dinner, her sandwiches were left on the worktop at home! We laughed so much we were actually crying.
LOL!!! I'm almost crying with laughter here, Horselady LOL
My wife pulled some clothes from the tumble dryer last week and wondered why there was a wet (not damp) patch on the top item. A quick sniff was enough to convince us one of our cats has discovered a nice warm dry alternative to his litter.

LOL about the raw liver for lunch, Horselady.

And it seems, sandmaster, that we all have to make sure our kitties don't have access to tumble driers!!!
