If Jesus was walking around today, what could he do or say to really make us all change our views on religion and change the ways of wicked people? Would we all bow and follow him? Say, "Get to the back of the queue", when he thinks his 10 items or less are more sacred than ours while standing in Tesco's? Or would we be making our way to the nearest hardware store for timber, nails and a hammer?
I think he'd tell the Christians they've got the wrong end of the stick and they shouldn't have listened to the men who came after him, but they wouldn't believe it was really him so they'd continue to do as they've always done. As he wasn't the son of god, and he knew he was an ordinary man, I don't think he'd expect to push his way to the front of the queue at Tescos - and rather than popping down to B&Q for hammer and nails people would probably just think he was nuts!!
Morning naomi. I was going to apologise for my question before anyone answered but you beat me to it.
I did partake in some vino last night so you could say my train of thought was a little hazy.
;0}
I thought it was being insensitive to peoples beliefs.
Thanks anyway and your answer is spot on.
